Car Drives Into Erawan Shrine, 5 People Injured

BANGKOK — Someone drove a car into the Erawan Shrine on Friday night reportedly injuring five people. Emergency personnel who were removing injured people from the scene said an unconscious driver was found inside a Toyota Corona. The driver, 54-year-old Kanuengnit Techoran, was found unconscious and suspected of suffering a seizure.
